POE Cadet Areas of Study

The Colorado State Patrol Training Academy offers an invaluable amount of opportunities to provide you with the knowledge, skills and abilities you will need to be a Colorado State Port of Entry Officer.

In addition to the required 40 hour NASI Part A (Driver) Course Completion from Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, you will receive over an additional 400 hours of training specific to the Colorado State Patrol and state statute as a Port of Entry Officer.
